Error after Patch 1.8: Unable to find static char base po...

After the patch today there is a:

'Unable to find static char base pointer in module."

error. 'rom/bot.lua update' didn't work.

i think they change the value and pointer of hp value, etc completely in the patch.

I got the same thing after the patch today, I tried re-installing MM and ROM but still got the same error long yellow text of errors.

I tried running rom\update.lua but it said "Unable to find static base pointer in module."

There's a fix on SVN (rev 101) for patch 1850. I need people to test it before making a full release.

You guys can stop posting that you have this problem. I am quite well aware.

Testing now, and I agree with Administrator, no point of posting error, that comes up right after patching... you should know its memory related and he is already working on it.

Just delete all content in your rom folder except the folders waypoints and profiles and do the SVN update again to reload all files.
