NoCheckVersion not working anymore?

Hey guys

Do you still know a way how to play on an older version of runes of magic too?

Because the NoCheckVersion dont work anymore, because the game crashes everytime i tried to login.

Works fine for me, no crashes, no troubles!

Make a new shortcut!

NoCheckVersion itself works but I suspect you are trying to use an old version of the game on current servers which won't let you do that.

Yeah but before the patch it worked like a charm?
So it's not possible anymore?

Every time I use it when the game updates I get a message saying something like "game wrong version" and it wont let me start the game. Then I close the game and start it again with a different shortcut that doesn't have the NoCheckVersion and it updates. Then I can go back to using my regular shortcut. Like Lisa said, it does still work.

Yes ofc, i can play with the latest version and this Shortcut too, but i want to play on an older client.exe/version because of several things

Well once I thought of it being possible.... In game folder there is some file with password you can find it on the net and as far as I know there is number of version and this is only thing client checks while connecting to the server. Not sure about that as I have resign testing it (too much work with new client, besides probably lots of crashes).

Even if you did manage to force the server to accept you using an older version you would have serious issues with crashes, a lot.

Before the patch everything worked so far, and there were no crashes
