Question, need help

Hi there,
so far i'm using the pet craft bot.
But my biggest issue is, that i have to choose a waypoint path.
This way, i cannot do other things when my bot is running, cause when i move, it always moves back
So what i have to do, if i want to run the pet craft bot, and at the same time wanna run trough town etc...
I read something about RBassist? but if i use that one.. bot doesnt start to craft.

Hope to get some feedback soon ;)

after testing some stuff... i changed :

I have a few suggestons.

1. If you want to autocraft while manually playing there is a cool ingame addon called PetAutoCraft. It will probably interfere with the rombot pet crafting but I'm working on including support for that and other pet addons. Until then, if you want to use this addon, just disable petcrafting in your profile and just use the addon.
2. It needs to be added to RBAssist. It's just a matter of adding 1 line "checkEggs()" but it just hasn't been done yet. You could probably do this yourself, just add it near the end before the loop ends.

hi rock5

thanks for the addonsuggestion, but i tried it, and it keeps my client crashing.
Thats why i want to keep using the bot.

The problem was that i used the both with waypoint path while i was afk (i'm new so just used waypoint path and went afk in house)
But now i want to play the game while runing the bot.

I got it somehow fixed (referring to my 2nd post now).
But as you can see... in the screenshot, the bot does something each 2/3/4 seconds.
That way i'm not really able to play cause it stops my character every time at those time intervals.

So i hope you understand this issue a little bit better now and maybe got some suggestions to fix this.

about changing the RBassist thing... what i have to do? :o (i'm relative new to this). I'm not using the chicken egg farm thing...

Just open RBAssist.lua in a text editor and add
"checkEggs()" about 4 lines from the bottom before the last 'end'.

I think that should work.

Another simple solution is create a simple waypoint file like this,

		repeat
			checkEggs()
			yrest(5000)
		until false
	</onLoad>
</waypoints>
and use that. It should check your egg pets every 5 seconds. I don't think that will interfere with anything else you are doing with your character.

I have a waypoint file with the following.

    		yrest(1000) -- How ever often you want it to check.

pet does its harvest thing and you can continue to play as you wish. just be aware that when the timer ends it will try to do it's thing which involves using macro's and therefore it presses the macro key, 0 by default. so if you are typing at the time it will fill up with 0 in the typing and then bott will get stuffed up because it didn't do what it wanted to do.

It's like the same waypoint file i'm using now.. but the yrest=5000
Does the yrest value matter if you are not doing eggfarming?
So i could put it incredible high, or doesnt it really matter?

The yrest is just how often it checks your eggpet. So, potentially, the yrest value is how long it might go without crafting. So, for example, if you set the yrest to 30000 and it finished crafting just after it was checked then it will be 30 seconds without crafting before it gets checked again.

K thanks for making that clear.
All is working great now.

It seems like alot of people found their way to the pet harvest addon. Too bad cause market of mats will go down soon... :s

i tried today to use the eggclass but it doesn't work for me..

the options look like this

Did you check your pets crafting tab to see if it's crafting? Do you have the tools necessary for mining in your inventory?

If you want your pet to craft while manually playing I would just use the PetAutoCraft addon. Or if you want a bit of help auto attacking while manually playing, I would use the RBAssist.xml waypoint file. The RBAssist option will auto attack your targets and heal for you, respond to aggro and use the eggpet settings.

hi rock, i have the mining tools in the bag and the crafting pet is on slot 1 like in the options. I checked the tab if there is something running, but nothing - he doesnt take the items to the slot (german client again ;) ) ..

Normally i use the petinfo for manually gaming and while petinfo is active and iam running a script with active options the client takes the items and produce the highest level of ore. But i need some lower levels and i tried several spellings for the options, it looks like the script ignores the Craftindexes

Therefore i tried to implement without petinfo (i deleted the addon and restart the client) and THEN nothing happens .. :(

Change it and see if it works.

I'll fix it so in my next commit it will be able to accept 'nil' values.

lol.. i tried - value="5,0,0" - value="5","nil","nil" - value="5:0:0," value="5:nil:nil" but NEVER value="5,,"

IT works.. THANKS a lot .. great work you are doing here..
