ROMeo's Multihack

Hi,
maybe you know the new rom launcher. Gameforge has deleted the download site of the full and slim client so you can only install rom with the GameforgeLiveLauncher (http://gfl.gameforge.com/)
I had to install the game again because of graphic problems, the thing is, that I don't have got a runes of magic folder anymore. The installation path is now Programs\GameforgeLive\Games\DEU_deu\Runes of Magic
I don't know if it is because of this new installation part, but my ROMeo's Multihack doesn't work anymore.
"Could not open RoM process: error number 5
Exiting..."

I post it here, because you are not able to post in the rompros forum anymore with these spambots.

Romeo's should work no matter the name of the folder the game is actually in, pretty sure I used to use it on my folders called

/Program Files/rom4u
and
/Program Files/rom4uu

Just have a look at the process name and see what it is.

Or maybe romeo's just didn't survive the patch and they need to update the patterns.
but then again I could be wrong lol

The runes of magic process is called "Client". I believe it was called "Client" before too...

No they didn't. But have a look on that page. It's dead. Since months no one has posted anything and there are only spam bots. I'm only able to find the link to ROMeo's Multihack with google.

this version is partially working for me on current game client, the run speed seems to not work and if you use sprint it goes insanely fast.

fly and teleport work fine.

A little added info,

Seems they used this for the speed of the player

where as we use this

Our offsets still work fine.

Unfortunately you can't just change the values they use, the creator would need to do it.

it would depend on how they set it up to scan for the game running, does rombot work fine on the game ??

You see we don't actually scan for the client.exe process we scan for another indication for the game. So it is possible they changed something in the direct download that is making romeos stop working or it could be 1 of many other reasons.

If I get a chance later today I'll try the direct download and see if there is any difference to it.

Rombot works fine like it should. I've tested it today. Would be nice it there was a log where I could see, what error number 5 is :D In the normal error log you can only see errors while reading the pointers.

if you are just after speed and flying you can always just use the WP I posted on the userfunction topic for speed/swim hack, it should still work fine.

I guess it wouldn't take to much effort to make a stand alone .lua to run for just using hacks like romeo's does.

I dont understand why it should work...i got a copy of ROMeo from a friend...him and a couple more are able to use the program but it is just me that cant...is there anythin that i need to do? if yes can you please walk me through it coz i am new to this stuff

It could be many reasons,
at the end of the day though the programme was created by someone else on another forum.
I don't have the source code and so I can't fix it.

It's really a problem with that Gameforge Live client. I just has to install the old slim client again and it worked fine.

Hm either the process name changed or the new GF Luncher did some other changes.
May I can as my next project besides cracking some DB, program a substitute in c#.
I always wanted to phrase the adresse.lua with c# in the past I programmed a guardian tool to watch my PAC characters if they are still online and logged in but keep track of the adresses wasn't easy alone so I abandoned it.

This is my version of RoMeo. All but see stealth rogues works perfectly. Out of all of the versions I have tried I like this one the best.

How come when I open romeo I get this error "Cannot execute "C:\Users\V2125~1.PIP\AppData\Local\Temp\Rar$EX00.591\ROMeo's Multihack\ROMeo's Multihack.exe"
