Knight Range Pulling with Shock

I only use Shock for interrupts, but the bot is trying to range pull with it.
Code: Select all
<skill name="KNIGHT_SHOCK" hotkey="MACRO" priority="250" autouse="false" />
It even has the autouse="false". So it just ends up staring at the target for several seconds before it moves on. Would it be possible for the bot to ignore skills that are marked with autouse="false" as candidates for range pulling?
Thanks

I can't say for sure one way or another, but while waiting for a definite answer, you can try this in your profile onLoad to reduce Shock's range and see if it helps;
Code: Select all
for k,v in pairs(settings.profile.skills) do
if v.Name == "KNIGHT_SHOCK" then
v.Range = 50
end
end
If that doesn't work, you can use this in onSkillCast so your character will at least move in to fight after the failed cast.
Code: Select all
if arg1.Name == "KNIGHT_SHOCK" then
RoMScript("UseSkill(1,1)")
end

If autouse is set to false then the bot wont cast it. The code you have to cast it is probably faulty. Show us the code you use to cast it and we can have a look at it.

also testing out the warden class. it trys to range pull with WARDEN_ELVEN_PRAYER even tho it's autouse="false"
and no, it's not called to cast anywhere else in the profile same with knight shock that was edited out for troubleshooting.

Does it say something like "range skill found WARDEN_ELVEN_PRAYER" when starting the bot? Does it actually say it is using the skill in the micromacro window? Are you using hotkey="MACRO" in your profile?

Try changing this value to false.
Code: Select all
<option name="COMBAT_RANGED_PULL" value="true" /> <!-- only important for melees -->

no idea why it would try to pull with a heal. especially a skill with autouse="false"
but now when i play on my druid side, how to i get it to range pull = true?

As the comment suggests, this option only applies to melee classes. Druid defaults to ranged so it will ignore that option. So setting it to false should work for both classes. Or leave it empty and it will default to the correct value, melee for the warden and ranged for the druid.
