Apparently, somebody thought it would be a good idea to create a bunch of accounts on this site using a ton of proxies and then sell them out to spammers. I've been at this awhile; I know how it works. Very few of these attempts even resulted in a working account, and even fewer actually posted spam messages (3, I think, which were also immediately removed).

Point being, a lot of accounts have been deleted, IPs and email addresses have been banned (though, little good that does), anti-spam and account creation measures have been improved, etc.
