Did you get anything added to the log file?
rom/logs/GMdetectwhispers.xml

unfortunetly no, its empty. only dummy file in there.

And they DO check the ingame mailing, been running chicken race for 6 months and this was the first ban for me.

did you have the latest version of gm detect?
I find it weird that if they did whisper you nothing was recorded in the log.

the lua files says ver 1.6 .

The wierdest part is that i was monitoring it my self with a eye now and then, because of the chicken stuck thing.
so i relogged a few times during that time also before i tried the older chicken script and was hittet with a suspend-bat.
what i could see during the time was that i didnt get any whispers or anything that indicated a GM presence. And they followed the mail trace and suspended a few other "characters" in the process also.

So i have rethinked the mailing part and started to have a character 2 character trade instead and using a "sacrificing lamb" for the AH part.

By looking on AH i can see the trading in golden egg has fallen abruptly from around 100 items to about 20. and only a few 99 stacks in there.
The positive thing is the price is on an upward climb, the downside is that it´s easier to spot "big" sellers.

Ahh so the gm detect didn't fail because there was no GM presence or whisper.

Ok, I am also slightly a rom bot noob. However, when I first started using RoM Bot, I managed to get it to work, and it was doing so for about 10 days. Around the 10th or so day, a friend of mine used my laptop (My PC I use to Bot golden eggs) and it since has had a problem.

When my character goes to grab the feed or harvest a chicken, Rom bot keeps saying "Found chicken will harvest it" and when it does this, my character assumes a stance like he is ready to fight i.e. he will raise his fists or his weapon.

I've tried everything I can think of, re installing MicroMacro, uninstalling / re installing SVN - deleting all the files and re SVN-updating, and nothing seems to make my character actually harvest and continue.

I noticed from the original post it wants Revision 470 of ingamefunctions - but I think my revision is like 563 or something, how do I change it to 470 and is that going to make a huge difference?

If anyone can help me with my problem it would be greatly appreciated.

Check and see if the "Click to Move" option is enabled in the game.

That should be "at least 470". Obviously newer versions are kept backwards compatible. Probably I specified 470 because I added or changed something that was needed for the script.

..................

Rock, I love you but at the time, I feel like such a giant fail. I guess when you click the "Restore Defaults" it doesn't auto put on click to move? Weird, either way... lesson learned, so I had it all correct just no click to move.

Again, thank you very much. If there is anyway I can leave feedback for you or something, let me know I'll make sure to do so.

I can't see any way that the changes of the last revision can affect that function. How long has it been since the last time you used the bot before you updated? Are there any conflicts with any of your files (red or yellow icons next to the files in explorer)?

i got the bot to work, but when he is harvesting something, it is harvesting infinitely, and the bot stops, without error message, or anything. it just stays at the message: harvesting feed bag or any resource.

nice work guys and waiting for a method to fix it. in the meantime i will try it too.

EDIT: target_Object does this. if i use target_NPC it works fine. weird

You will find the "ingamefunctions" folder in the "rom\devtools" folder of the bot. Just copy it to the "interface\addons" folder of the game.

Any way to set the script to re-log the accounts after a set time in each profile? I find the chickens get glitched and I would like to be able to have each account go back to the login screen and log back in and then go to the ranch and start farming again. Even better would be for the accounts to re-log when they are not able to use 2 chickens.

I never did that because relogging causes the clients to use more and more memory until it crashes.

You could still add it if you like. All you need to do is change what it does when all hens are stuck. At the moment it just keeps retrying every now and then until they become unstuck (if they do).

So around line 339 of the MRC_Optimized script you will see

Code: Select all

		if #ignoredHens == 3 and inventory:itemTotalCount(204789) > 0 then
Just replace everything in that 'if' statement with what you want it to do, so.

Code: Select all

		if #ignoredHens == 3 and inventory:itemTotalCount(204789) > 0 then
			-- Set relog option
			RoMScript("} fastLoginRelog=true a={")
			-- Logout
			player:logout(false)
			waitForLoadingScreen()
			-- Restore relog option
			RoMScript("} fastLoginRelog=false a={")
			-- Reload path
			loadPaths("MRC_Optimized")
		end
That is untested but should work
