just to chip in, i run KS to, but i use a logout to get to the camp to sell, then get back in.

problem is, i also get that no key defined, i also have cant find waypoint errors, and yes, i do re-initialize the player.

i use same method as i do when doing dailies with multiple chars, so i know it should work, but here it doesnt for some strange reason O.o

Maybe your macro.bsd is corrupted.

I don't know why it would work with one file but not another, unless you were using more than 1 version of rombot at a time.
U are right... but the prob is :
after i delete the macro is running ok but he automatical create the macro
and on second run ....same error !

any solution ?

i use only 1 version of micromacro 612

i dyscover the prob.
for eg. when i run solo in KS ( no pty ) the path files work becouse he dosent leave KS
but when he leaves ..error ( i think is somethign with addr )
or
if i delete the second macro (auto create by bot ) just before leaves KS (last waypoint ) ..
again works

i create a blank macro and put it on Key 0 (follow the micromacro bot config tutorial) ...but the bot is writing in it something like this :
/script R='' a={TargetFrame:Hide()} for i=1,#a do R=R..tostring(a)..' ' end EditMacro(2,'RB',7,R)
and if i wana delete all macro same error or game crash .
sry for my vry bad eng...if u dont uderstand ask i'l try to explain :|
PS : mabe i can use some function in waypoint file to delete the second macro before leaving KS ?! mabe :|

Creating a blank macro was the method for the older version of rombot. You no longer need to create that blank macro.

If I have a vk_# available and put the "horse" on it is the mounting possible with this?
Please give me an example how to use it in an waypointfile.

Not only that, but the bot will ignore blank macros unless you name it "RB Command".

The error doesn't really make sense. Maybe you should try deleting macro.bsd in the "Documents/Runes of Magic/Charactername" folder.

That's what it's supposed to do. But if you are still getting the errors you mentioned earlier, your macros.bsd might be corrupt. The only way to fix it is to delete it and have the game recreate it. Try it.

I did...and half works :/
from vendor to KS and in KS but on exit from KS ..i got same error

are 2 macros : RB Command : /script R='' a={LeaveParty()} for i=1,#a do R=R..tostring(a)..' ' end EditMacro(2,'RB',7,R)
and
RB : blank

is any prob in my profile xml or .. ?!

on how to confing rom bot ( for new vers )
or how to link more pths xml files for in and out of instances
i'm 100% sure i'm not doing it right ...but have no ideea where :/

( on anyware else bot working crystal clear ...)

You said the last command that was sent before you get the error was LeaveParty and then you get a macro error. I notice that you use player:rest(30). If it ends up taking longer than 30 to teleport then anything could happen when it tries to continue. Try changing "player:rest(30)" to "waitFotLoadingScreen()".

Hey, first thanks for all help. All posts has helpt alot during probs.

This one i cant to seem to find anywhere tho (might be wrong)

After latest patch download (4.0.0.2418, date Tuesday 12 july) i got a error while running in New high zones. Worked perfectly in silverfall tho.

I did also change the 2 new files (page 11), and even removed everything and reinstalled.

All help greatly appriciated!

It's in your profile. make sure you have a number, it can't be "" so use "0"

I looked for this but maybe I missed it and if so I'm sorry :(


I updated MM with tortise etc. And suddenly I am getting critical error crashes when I hit "Delete" to run the bot. It loads, does macro test then crit errors and I get this message from bot:

OPENING LOCAL SKILLS DB!
Loading profile xxxxxxx.xml
MACRO Test: ok
/micromacro/scripts/rom/functions.lua:607: bad argument #1 to
'memoryReadByte' ((null))

Did I miss a fix somewhere? Any input would be appreciated, and again if this is posted elsewhere I'm sorry for the duplicate.

EDIT: I did see the post about "deleting the Macro.bsd in my documents/runes of magic/CHARNAME/" ... seems like that is what I need to do since bot is failing at macro test. I'll try that. Fingers crossed! BTW, this only just started happening today when I updated, otherwise bot was working fine.
