I'm a bit confused(and Gw2 is f2p since a while)

I tested it and thx to my new PC I haven't any performance issues anymore but I'm not sure from where the problem is.
It is possible it is because I'm playing f2p or I missed something but I'm level 17 or something like that and I had basically only 1 quest the rest are events.

I mean the game has content in form of those events which is based on a huge map and the performance of the client is great. The other thing I noticed is maybe again it is because I'm mage their are certainly some action elements in it through I have no mana and many spells are instant but honestly NW and DP are more action oriented.

I can only hope things get better the whole playing of it is extreme slackish at the moment.

Okay I should add whats about f2p , first of all you have only season1 of the story , you bags are smaller and the zonechat is deactivated and you can't switch server after you started to create a char on it and you have on the right side an icon that alway remind you to buy the new add-on to get the full version.
Jack-of-all-trades, but master-of-only of a few :D

I haven't tried the free-to-play mode, but the game was fun for awhile. The end-game was what bored me, though that was when it first released. From your description, FTP seems pretty fair and won't be restrictive enough that you wouldn't be able to enjoy the game. Realistically the game is more about the questing and exploring than the end-game, so if you're not enjoying it already then you don't have much to look forward to.

I can't say it is bad but neither can I say it is whoooha.
The best way to describe it is : It was terrible over-hyped especially the point which everyone pointed out which should be the strong points of the game aren't nearly as good as I imagined. I'm also playing DP again when it only would be a bit better it would beat GW 2 into the ground. Okay I'm not an expert for GW 2 but can you help me?

A lot of telepoters on the same map :
GW 2 : yes, DP : yes

A lot of events on the same map :
GW 2 : yes, DP : yes

Events change dynamically :
GW 2 : yes, DP : no

Mini-quest on the road :
GW 2 : no, DP :yes

You can fly your pet/mount :
GW 2 : no, DP :yes

Most dungeons can be run solo(or in group):
GW 2 : no, DP :yes

Skills come from multiple sources :
GW 2 : yes, DP : yes(5 dragons + mastery +default)

Personal Housing :
GW 2 : no, DP :yes ( sky island with gild pvp)

Stamina system:
GW 2: You can roll(other class?), DP: you can roll in the air, run on ground or use it like an afterburner in the air.

Panoramic view:
GW 2 : yes, DP :no.

Achievement System:
GW 2 : yes, DP : yes

Jumping Puzzle:
GW 2 : yes, DP : yes

Legendary Quest Path:
GW 2 : no(?), DP : yes

Combo Attack System:
GW 2 : no that I noticed some, DP :yes

Cinematics :
GW 2 : yes, DP : yes

GW 2 Endcontent(???): Some Equip, Achievement, and building another char, PvP, ?raiding worldbosses?
DP Endcontent: Some more Equip(stats), Achievement, and building another char, PvP, collect +500 Dragons, raiding worldbosses, evolve you main dragons, collect stuff for NPC quest(Equip), enter guild pvp on the islands, farming dragon splitters.

I think crafting is part of the endcontent for both. DP weakness is th AH, the graphic(engine) and the crafting system (200 max recipes which can be learned).

I would say GW 2 is very much on the explorer side then on the engaged player side. I will play it when I want to chill^^
