The good news is that all of the information can be found online. Go to http://romdata.getbuffed.com and search for a wood/ore/herb by name. For example, search "Zinc Ore". In the results, click the correct one (in this case, there's only 1 "Zinc Ore" to click). Scroll down, and click the "Mined from" tab (You may also see "Gathered from" or "Lumbered"). There will typically be only 1 thing that the item is mined from, so don't worry too much about seeing 4 of them for this example. Obviously, the correct thing in the list at this point is "Zinc Ore" (Which is the name of the actual mine object you clicked to get this item). When you put your mouse over the link, it will say at the bottom of your screen, http://romdata.getbuffed.com/?o=560001. If this doesn't show, you can click the link and it will instead be in your address bar. Anyways, that number at the end (560001 in this example) is the ID of the node it is gathered from. This is what I need.
