#1 Post by kuchen91 » Wed Nov 23, 2011 2:54 am

hello,

which processor is better to bot with maximal clients?

i5 2500k or i7 2600k?

if the i7 is better...worth it to pay more?

my system spec atm:
x4 955BE
16gb Ram

go for i5 2500k and easily overclock it up to 4.5ghz changing only multiplayer in BIOS/UEFI and adding some vooolts. It will be tottally enough cause i7 2600k don't give u much diffrence in performance, but it costs much more. u can google for tests.

With 4 gb and a good old Q6600 (@3 ghz) i can open 10 clients (takes me 20-30 min, though)
By the way, i'd recommend you a SSD so you can open the clients fast (also, the videocard should be good, but you know about that already).

My guess is that you can open, at least, 25 clients easily. (Thats 2500/3000 golden eggs a day)
Thing is, a small disconnect, error, light cut, or something like that would be awful.

What you can do, after a few days of HARD golden egg bot, is to buy equipment and start making lvl 60 chars to do Kalin Shrine. Each lvl 60 char is 10-15kk (or more) a day (compared to the 60kk you make with 30 golden egg clients). Imagine 15 lvl 60 chars + 15 golden egg boters = ~230kk a day.
Also, KS gives you gold IN HAND, you don't have to trade those huge amounts of eggs (you could simply lvl up your pet, or your KS characters pet)

PS: Each small windowed client uses from 200mb to 250mb ram (when really really inactive). So technically, with some serious time in hand to create accounts, characters, opening up clients and such, you could achieve 70-80 clients. But that's just crazy. :P

PS2: 4 clients with 4gb is piece of cake. So 16 clients should be easily achieved.

Only one problem is that KS client uses more resources than egg ;) But still if your other calculations are correct it should be 12+12..... To keep efficiency probably 10+10 ;)

btw. How you manage to reduce client to 250MB? For me just after loading it is about 600M, with graphic to 0 and view distance 200.

@Budzer, its the same for me, but if you keep loading clients, the "unactive" (already egging) ones, slowly start to reduce their ram usage.

is there any way to make the clients less cpu consuming ?

maybe disable the graphic?

Makes sense. The loading is mostly processing the assets into a usable format (i.e. decompressing, decoding) and memory transfers, not so much actually grabbing the data off the disk.

I watched some youtube music videos of her the other day, sounded good, shame I didn't understand a word though lol
My little girl said she looked like a princess =)

My kids love dance music though so maybe it's good they don't understand the words, most of the dance music out there arn't appropriate for a 4 year old lol

This is cool though

She does mostly love songs. That song, just like a boomerang, is about her coming back to "you" (her boyfriend, perhaps?).

How much of a difference did it really make? The way the data is packed on top of how RoM's code is horribly unoptimized leads me to believe that you're not going to see that much improvement from just switching to a SSD.

Off topic again but it is safe to say that ANY tracks from Blumchen aren't explicit in any way.

She changed her Artist name from Blumchen back to her real name Jasmin Wagner and she lives in Germany/Hamburg ^^

As a teenager while her tracks played in radio and mtv all boys I know where really fond of her <3
