Question on heal bot

#1 Post by CrazyGuy » Sun Apr 29, 2012 12:06 pm

So i set up a bot to heal me when im out questing. Changed the targeting level to anything +/- 50 levels, set the Healer_fight to true and uncommented the party bot options. The bot follows and heals just fine, but it doesn't ever cast any combat spells when i get into a fight. What do i need to change/ add so when my playing char starts combat, the healer will also attack whatever i'm attacking.

Put an "I" icon on the mob you want it to kill, default shortcut key is numpad 1

Is it possible to have my following healing class to fight and heal. While my party leader runs the waypoints given. The scenario my party leader tank and my priest following with party heals profile running. I want my priest to fight and heal when necessary. Is this a possibility

Code: Select all

 <option name="HEALER_FIGHT" value="true" /> <!-- For party bot if you want healer to also fight -->
add that to your profile, the "healer" will buff and heal all party members while it isn't attacking a mob.

Then just make sure your leader bott has

Code: Select all

		<!-- Party Bot options  -->
		<option name="PARTY"				value="true" />
		<option name="PARTY_ICONS"			value="true" />
So it will set the icon on target and both chars will attack it.

Note once the "healer" starts the fighting sequence it won't heal party members until that mob is dead, so for bosses I would suguest not using healer_fight.

Ok I will try this today when I get home. I have noticed my healer dies a lot. My tank will aggro more than one mob at a time my healer will start going heal crazy and pull a mob or two. Only to have my tank say ohh he's fighting those mobs and continue on to the next mob. In turn killing my healer who just pulled aggro and is only looking to heal.

That's not an issue with the healer then, that is an issue with your tank. Check your tanks profile settings, it should be defending party members.
