I would suggest accessing their pvp site instead because they seem to favour it but it seems to be down too. Their pvp forum is still up though. http://forum.rompvp.com. Although I don't know if that will help.

Decided to play around a little in RoM again, the thought of lvling my chars in official server was just to much for me so I downloaded rom4u again only to find that their server itself has been having issues =(

Saw a news post their server was down for 2 days for "backing up" that was just a couple days after a maintenance which was rather long. Today I couldn't even get on my mount and recall would just stay in same spot but put the skill on cooldown, so yeah I just logged off again =(

Even though they are generally good at keeping the servers up to date and their normal server update times are short, there have been more than one time that they have been down for a few days.

At those times, if I want to play a bit, I usually go back to my EU client, I can't stand the AU one.

I also just got back to rompvp, and I must say the server worked better then before when the main quest line was bugged at 22 dif places. But it seems that the entire thing crashed this morning..... The time it takes for the GM's to notice these things is way to long on this server... usualy takes em about 12hrs to look at it.

The server merged I think it happened really early because I remember that was already 2012 this way.

apperently they are replacing hardware, estemated time the server should be back up again was a couple of hrs ago. Interesting whats gonna happen with the new hardware.

So they fix a hardware problem in 30hrs when they said it would take 12, then they start the server up for an hr and take it down to "configure".... still waiting

I am guessing there is another gold exploit, a week ago dia prices were 16mil per 100 dias, now they are 90mil per 100 dias, all because the same character bought up hundreds of thousands of dias over the last 5 days and they didn't seem to care what price they paid for them, must have spent gold in the billions.

End result, very little dias on AH and the ones on AH are way over priced...

Correct, you can dupe gold (among other things) currently. This is exactly what I was trying to avoid on AU with that honor bug 2 years ago Lisa

I just started playing on this server last night. Holy crap the economy looks ridiculous! and all the bots fighting for dog meat made me lol. Than my lack of gear made me cry because I died easily. Otherwise its very interesting. Gonna have to start a shell farm see if I can make some diamonds and not suck gear wise. For those that do currently play on this server, what treats and specials are there? I looked on the forums they have but not much is advertised or recent?

An important thing to remember is, because it's so easy to level, the population is very top heavy. So you find a lot less low and mid level items in the Auction House. My estimation of the population, based on the AH is that there is a lot more than the Australian official server and less than the EU server I play on.

Different people use different things but some of the things I like about the Nexon server are:
- The blue equipment packages you can buy from the Item shop for 10 dias. They make very good basic gear for alts.
- Being able to buy everything from the Item Shop, even seasonal items.
- Buy Level 60 Elite
- You can even buy high level epic weapons

Note: I haven't played on Nexon for a while.

Yeah as I said a few posts back it has gone rediculous because of all the duping that happened over the last 4 weeks, from what I have seen no one has been banned over it yet either, so yeah dias are still being sold for 1mil per dia, if your selling dias that is great but if your buying then it's bad.

High end stats are pretty steady economy though so shell farming is not a bad way to make dias if you do it large scale, but if you just do 3-4 chars then you will find it slow to make any real money.



Lvling is super easy, so getting those shell farmers up to lvl is a piece of cake.

You can get the 55 and 60 ones from a quest for free, you just need to walk there, I just set up a WP to do the walking for me
