Well, all these nifty WP's I've been making will all be for nothing now. Solo play for scouts is at an end. They cut scout DPS by 2/3rds. We'll be lucky to be able to kill cute fuzzy bunnies.

I think you can still run all your waypoints as with max lvl you get better equip and krit rate to be actually stronger in the old content than before... The only problem you have is in writing new waypoints...

That makes sense. RoM makes its money off equipment dependence. By reducing skill abilities they force you to stat earlier.

Just able to begin the update. I guess I'll know how bad it is in about an hour or so.

Wow.... I was wrong about the time.... it's been 3 1/2 hours and it's still only at 52%.... speed went from 300k/s+ down to about 3k

try manually patching

Yup, I'm going with the manual patch method. Just spent 4 1/2 hours for it to finish downloading then to come up with an error and it needing to download again.

That didn't work either. Looks like they don't allow the slim client to be patched.

Right.... guess my computer just hates the game. Wouldn't let me update the full client with the manual patches either.

Fixed my problem and am updating now (Read as: Went to a neighbor, used their internet to download the manual patches and copies to usb stick)
