Hello, I play ROM from Indonesia, and this is our game version

Code: Select all

[size=85][Current Version]
Version=2.1.0.1942.id
UpdateFile=2.0.0.253.zip
[Pren Version]
Version=2.1.0.1936.id
[Begin Version]
Version=2.1.0.1900.id
[2.1.0.1900.id]
DownloadPath=id
Version=2.1.0.1936.id
DownloadFile=patch_2.1.0.1900.id_2.1.0.1936.id.exe
MD5=e703fcd019e6499f5677d0459f611bba
[2.1.0.1936.id]
DownloadPath=id
Version=2.1.0.1942.id
DownloadFile=patch_2.1.0.1936.id_2.1.0.1942.id.exe
MD5=277acedf277c2b62e0c27107a2ca7ebf[/size]
This is what I've done so far :
1. Downloaded Tortoise SVN, install it, and rebooted
2. Downloaded Micromacro 1.0 beta 7 from http://www.solarstrike.net/phpBB3/downl ... php?id=549
3. Updated SVN so my micromacro looks like this
Image
4. created new mage, my character name is this Image
5. open micromacro, and type : rom\bot.lua profile:l1-10
6. switch to my game window, clicked on "delete"
7. and this error came up
Image

already tried to rename l1-10.xml on profile folder and rename it to my character's name, same error...
FYI indonesian ROM is still on Closed Beta, but I just want to make this awesome program settled before Open Beta occurs. any help on this please? thanks in advance....

Looks like the addresses are a bit off. Try running 'rom/bot.lua update' and see if it is able to automatically find the information for your version.

Try rom/update.lua itself, and see what it tells you. My guess is it won't be able to find the addresses, but you never know. If it does not find them, zip up Client.exe from the RoM folder and email it to <removed>.

The addresses and offsets are too different from the current ones. Because of this, simply plugging in a new static base won't work. What I suggest doing is to use SVN to upgrade to different revisions to see which one works for you.

You should start with r306, which you can download the full package from here. Update (if using Tortoise SVN, right-click the 'rom' folder, go to Tortoise SVN->Update to revision. In the Revision box, type the number of the revision) to revisions 325, 350, 375, 400 and see if they work.

Using SVN with the RoMbot is outlined here should you have questions.

No, just continue using what you've got until there is a patch that no longer works. When that happens, you may need to update past a few more revisions or, hopefully, to the latest revision.

I am in a Philippine server, I tried the steps above to get the bot working.

1. I made a Mage char.
2. Used the provided l1-10 profile.

And I got this error:

Wellcome to rom bot! press END to quit
RoM Bot Version 3.10
The macro is currently not running. Press the start key (Delete) to begin.
You may use (End) key to stop/pause the script.
Resumed.
Scanning for updated addresses...
addresses.staticbase_char: 0x8F4B70
addresses.staticbase_macro: 0x942F68
Finished.
OPENING LOCAL SKILLS DB!
...OM BOT Files/micromacro/scripts/rom/classes/pawn.lua:207: bad argument #1 to
'bitAnd' ((null))

Please enter the script name to run.
Type in 'exit' (without quotes) to exit.
Script>

Thanks in advance. I dont know how to get the Client version, if you need it, tell me how so I can provide you with it....

Again, just like everyone else that's using some unsupported client, you'll have to just try several different revisions to see what works for you. Many of the offsets changed across the updates, so simply using rom/update.lua is not always enough.

I've gone through all the revisions and nothing worked.

Used the l1-10 profile and this is the error I get:

MicroMacro v1.0
SolarStrike Software
http://www.solarstrike.net
Please enter the script name to run.
Type in 'exit' (without quotes) to exit.
Script> rom/bot.lua profile:l1-10
Opening bot.lua...
Starting script execution - Press CTRL+C to exit.
Press CTRL+L to cancel execution and load a new script.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
scripts\rom/bot.lua:3: ... Settings/AIV/Desktop/ROM BOT Files/micromacro/scripts
/rom/addresses.lua:38: unexpected symbol near '<'

Thanks...
