Hi..
First i love your bot
i used to use it when i played on the EU servers ..
now since we are getting a local version(korean) i was wondering if it would work..
so i tried.. but it kept on telling me "You need to run rom first!"
i ventured in a little and found that
local windowList = findWindowList("Runes of Magic", "Radiant Arcana");
returned 0.
i used spy++ to check and the window/handle name was right..
i am suspecting a unicode thing but dunno where to start..
any ideas ? thanx

Does the bot run with the current addresses on your server?thinkong wrote:i am suspecting a unicode thing but dunno where to start..

The unicode support is very well prepared. We still support the russian language, which also use unicode.

No. Not a private server.thinkong wrote:sry i didn't quite understand.. what do you mean by

Yes I'm asking if the bot is running a the korean severs with the current memory addresses from addresses.lua. What's the client version you use? The european servers are running on 2.1.2.1941.en. Perhaps you would have to revert the bot to an older version via the SVN?

Re: Support for other languages...
Also try redownloading the latest version from here. 9 times out of 10, this resolves the problem.
Re: Support for other languages...
ok the korean version is 2.1.1.1943.kr
and i was trying to use the up to date svn
anyway, i thought running update.lua was supposed to update the addresses.lua file
the problem with me was not the addressess. it was about finding the Runes of magic window in the first place :O
BTW. Wow has a realmlist.wtf file so that i can manually change the realm that i am connecting to .. does ROM have one? Just wondering coz of the similarity of the games
