Need some help with RB strange behaviors :-)

#1 Post by Alexslr » Sun May 09, 2010 7:09 am

1. My BOT very often run in a circle, backward, jump, or in erratic path and it says: "unsticking player trial x..." although there is actually no stuck or obstacle around. After 10 trials it sleeps. What causes this problem?

2. My BOT always wait for too long (upto 6-8 seconds) to engage the new mob after killing one and it says: "we didn't move to the loot. Root buff, missing click to move (i checked this option)..." and also it always lets the mobs hit me many times before fighting back. Please help me!

3. BTW i find sleepy state is very useful in many situations, how can i actively enter the sleep mode?

Thank you alot!

Alexxx.

Is this a recent problem, or has it always been like that for you?

Ah, I just posted a thread because I'm having this same issue. Sorry, didn't see this one until now.

Haven't really had the problem before today.

I can't do anything unless people provide more information.

I was able to fix mine by turning quick_turn on.

Obviously not the best solution, but perhaps that might help you understand what might be causing it. I tried changing my resolution around, but that didn't change anything (also tried both windowed and fullscreen).

Open inventory.lua and search for this:

Code: Select all

keyboardSetDelay(50);
There should be two mentions of it. Change the 50 to 100 for both. See if that helps at all.

Now i discover the problem but don't know how to solve it. My bot runs in WinXP perfectly and only have those problems mentioned above with Win7. Any cure for this?

Thank you,

Alexxx

That definitely helps. Can you be more specific though? Are you saying that under Windows XP it works fine while on the same computer using Windows 7 you experience problems? Or are these two different computers?

Can anyone confirm that they are having this problem with Windows 7? Is anyone having problems with any other OS?

Look @ my post on http://www.solarstrike.net/phpBB3/viewt ... =21&t=1259

If U have slow CPU (less than 5k pts. in bot output benchmark) U can only kill all unneeded processes (with explorer.exe of course ;)) and change micromacro.exe priority to "Above Normal" in your taskmanager.

Plz. Try 'n' say if it will work 4 U. For me is only method (on my archaic, crappy 1,4 GhZ sempron processor).

Thanks all for help. I gave high priority to bot window and it reduced remarkably "strange behaviors" :-).

Best,

Alexxx

If you update to SVN r440, you should no longer need to manually set the priority for MicroMacro. Let me know if this resolves the issue or not.

4 me and one of my friends micromacro must have "Above Normal" priority to work correctly.

If you have SVN r440 installed, it should automatically set the priority to above normal.
