I use Win7...no crash yet for me (but I only removed one model).Works great on WinXP but for some reason not working so good on Win7 machines seems to crash clients, still testing.

Re: G Egg Bots get snagged by hen house column
I just now removed the Hen House model. There's just a smallish box with a "?" on each of it's sides in its place now.
I'll let you know if it prevents the bots from getting stuck on that support column or not.
Either way, I won't know for a while.
Thanks.

Re: G Egg Bots get snagged by hen house column
Rock5, I do appreciate your reply, but what am I supposed to do with the model ("pet_house1.ros") file? I'm afraid you assume I know more than I do. I don't really know what "*.ros" files are. I assume they are files comprised of the code that makes up the structure of the object...

G Egg Bots get snagged by hen house column
Rock5/Lisa, I don't pretend to know how to set/change waypoints but I think the Miller's Ranch MRC.xml file needs to be edited. I've experienced multiple episodes of bots getting snagged up on that hen house overhang's post out front. The bot just runs in place trying to push through it to get to th...

Re: Pathing in Miller's Ranch - sticking abounds
Lisa, Ya, funny you mention that. I do have them all turned down to minimums, yet the video quality doesn't seem to change much (if at all) & whenever I use my Scout's "Ignite" elite skill, I almost completely lag out (much like Siege War). All the spell effects still display & nea...

Re: Pathing in Miller's Ranch - sticking abounds
Latest numbers. I'm finding it too peculiar to be just bad wireless, unless like I said before that the first client started gets priority & each additional just gets whatever bandwidth is left over. I woke to find one of three clients crashed (the one I usually have stuck egg issues with) and a...

Re: Pathing in Miller's Ranch - sticking abounds
You are correct. I had changed it on an alt in order to travel w/o getting lost in the fog created at minumum settings & didn't switch it back until you mentioned looking for differences in settings.

Re: Pathing in Miller's Ranch - sticking abounds
Rock5, I checked their set ups. The one in question does have it's view distance set at 30% (of bar) & the others set to 0% (all the way to the left or "near"). Otherwise they are set the same. I changed it to match the others (minimum view distance). Let's see what happens. It could j...

Re: Server Awareness
I've already done that to no avail. Twice. The eggs are still sticking & the bot keeps getting stuck in areas where it hadn't before.
I already posted a new thread detailing that issue here --> http://www.solarstrike.net/phpBB3/viewt ... =21&t=3271

Pathing in Miller's Ranch - sticking abounds
I've noticed that my bots in Miller's Ranch are getting stuck in areas that they would not previously & they they seemingly don't attempt to unstick themselves anymore either. One of them in particular of larger stature (if that makes a difference) keeps getting stuck on its way to the hen house...

Re: Server Awareness
Hmm, since my last post (3 hours ago) it seems to be getting worse & it is occurring with the same bot character. The bot is also not continuing to the shed for feed now as well. I'm going to go back to using my old MRC.xml WP on this character instead of the MRC_Optimized to see what happens. 2...

Re: Server Awareness
What causes stuck eggs & hens? I seem to be experiencing them at an ever increasing frequency. Is there anything that can be done to stave off or lessen the chance of them occuring? After 15 hours below are the results of one of my bots (the others were fine & averaged 5 - 6 GE/hr): Per 100 ...

Re: Server Awareness
In a related topic, using the new drop rate reports in RoM Bot I have noticed that my bots have been experiencing quite a varied drop rate from each other over the same lengths of time. This would be expected during a short sample time, but even after 12 hours the drop rate is varied. One would thin...

Req. Feedback from scriptors on my idea for improving GE/hr
Rock5 & Lisa, I've been brainstorming possible ways to improve my GE/hour at Miller's Ranch. This came to mind: Is there a way to change the chicken's speed used when they travel from their coop back to their feed locations? This seems to be an area that has the greatest potential for improvment...

Re: Server Awareness
It's quite simple actually. Supply & Demand . I am reasonable sure that all the price drops were related to the Frog Event which allowed any character over level 20 to trade 50 Hunting Traps to Event NPC Owenstein (on channel 1 by fountain at Veranas entrance) for 20 Golden Eggs up to twice per ...

Administrator, OK, here is the result of my second ping test (using default): Ping statistics for 192.168.1.1: Packets: Sent = 3293, Received = 3293, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 1ms, Maximum = 181ms, Average = 1ms Now that looks like it actually teste...

Lisa, You should find this funny also. I work for a well known global beverage company. Our sales & marketing execs went to Australia a few years back to meet with clients there. At this grand meeting (a filled auditorium) they unveiled their new slogan as part of a launch for new products in Au...

Adiministrator, I'm running the ping test again using the default. I think the first results were incorrect or that the IP I used was incorrect. Re: Botting; Has Frogster done something...
Administrator Pearl*, I had no drops last night (8+ hours with 3 bots farming Miller's on my machine). Average in-game ping of 100ms & at 130fps. Note: It's unlikely this had any impact on the results (because I beleive all the game environments are stored locally on your machine & would onl...
